Consulting Firm for non profits and small businesses copy.jpg

Nonprofits and small business leaders have enough on their plate.

Adding new projects, dealing with regulations and navigating changes comes with a cost. Some opt for an all-hands-on-deck approach — either taking staff from their actual jobs to write the proposal, prepare the self-study, develop the plan. Some opt to use the wait-it-out approach — maybe the requirement will go away, they won’t notice it’s an old proposal, things will fall into place before the evaluator arrives, etc.

Neither way works. I can help.

 Meet Amy

I am a business consultant who works with non-profits and small enterprises to help them grow and thrive.

I know that there are many times when leaders are pulled in too many directions or just can’t afford to stop everything to focus on a new project, write a proposal, or pursue a new opportunity.   I am here to clear away the roadblocks. Those complex tasks are right up my alley. I am dedicated to helping clients succeed by not only handling the task at hand, but also by creating the infrastructure and resources to better handle opportunities in the future.

Over the course of my career, I have been involved in the development, implementation, and evaluation of multiple programs; established and maintained strategic partnerships; conducted research and developed proposals; written manuals, articles, and books; and led diverse teams through change.   I have worked hard to improve and reform systems and improve outcomes for communities.  I’ve helped with business plans for start-up companies, analyzed risks and benefits of opportunities, and handled logistics.

I earned my master’s degree in Developmental Psychology at the University of Nebraska and my bachelor’s degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon.  I’ve completed executive education courses at Harvard Business School, University of Virginia – Darden School of Business, University of Miami, and the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy.
